Workshop Description:
This is a 2-hour hands on workshop for new barber students covering three in demand techniques: temporary color application, hair building fibers and airbrush technique.
You will go over:
- Theory instruction on consultation, safety and equipment for each technique
- Then rotate through guided hands-on practice stations on mannequins or models.
By the end of the class, you will be able to give a client’s consultation, apply temporary color with a clean line, apply hair fibers for natural looking density and safely set up, use and clean an airbrush and compressor.
*Students must bring standard barbering kit (shears, clippers, comb, cape, mannequin) as used in regular clinic work. Participants will receive a kit with the payment of the class for hands on.

About the Instructor:
Antonio Byrd is a barber instructor with 20 years of professional barbering experience, including 10 years as barbershop business owner. Rooted in the DMV (D.C. / Maryland/ Virginia) barbering community, he brings real, practical, hand on training to every class, with a focus on servant leadership and purpose driven professionalism.
