Course Description:
Participants will be provided a more in depth instruction on how to accommodate pregnant clients.
- Learn the changes that the body goes through in each trimester and things to consider when working with this population.
- Participants will be instructed how to care for clients after they have recently given birth.
- Learn how to navigate sensitive topics such as premature births and infant loss.
- Participants will give and receive a session at the end of the class to demonstrate course retention.
Participants are asked to bring: Wedge pillows, set of linens, massage lotion / oil, note-taking supplies.
