HICI Go is an institution for professionals looking to further their education by participating in cosmetology classes, massage courses, skincare courses, and more. Although our courses are designed for professionals, non-professionals are also invited to take our courses and build their skill sets. We offer live webinars and online courses throughout the U.S. and in-person courses at campuses throughout Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Courses are taught by licensed professionals.

You do not need to be licensed to take one of our courses. However, participating in our courses does not mean you have the licenses and certifications needed to perform these services professionally. To become licensed in the industry, you must complete a state-approved esthetician or cosmetology course. You may need to pass a state board exam, as well.

For licensed professionals, HICI Go takes care of sending the necessary continuing education (CEU) credits to the state. If the course you are taking is approved by a national certification board or state boards, then we can send over your CEU credits.

We understand that life can be hectic. If you purchased a course that you can no longer attend, please email us at info@hicigo.com. We allow students to transfer their registration to a different course. However, we only allow this one time per each course purchased. If a student misses their rescheduled course date, they can’t receive a refund or transfer to another date.

If you find that a course you have paid for has been rescheduled, then we encourage you to reach out to us via email at info@hicigo.com. When courses are rescheduled, we do our best to alert every student who signed up for the course about the new date and time. If the new date does not work for you, we allow students to transfer their registration to a future course that works best for them.

Congratulations on taking the first step in your new career! To become a licensed professional, you must complete your course hours at a registered and certified cosmetology school or massage therapy school. All programs are different, and requirements vary from state to state. For example, some students may only need to complete their course to become certified. However, other students may need to pass a state exam to gain certification and licensing.

Both of our accredited institutions, Hollywood Institute and Cortiva Institute, have the following certifications and approvals:

• CE Brokers Approvals (#50-11948): Hollywood Institute has the approval of the Florida Electrolysis Council (#50-29456), and both institutions are approved by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy, the South Carolina Massage/Bodywork Panel, and the Tennessee Board of Massage Licensure.
• NCBTMB Approval (#451248-10): Both institutions are approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
• DBPR Approval: Both institutions have Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation approvals in barbering and cosmetology.

Our skin care, esthetician, and other courses offered via video can take anywhere from three to six hours to complete. Some courses may try to cover as much information as possible by incorporating interactive lessons and group activities. In this case, your course can run longer. Before registering, you can click on each course to find more information, such as what the course covers, how much it costs, and how long it takes.

Investing in efficient, comprehensive courses for cosmetology, massage, and other programs is essential to receiving the education needed to thrive in the industry. Video courses through HICI Go can range from $75 to $150, with other courses costing $250. Prices are based on how much time and resources are needed to ensure students receive the right information.
