Course Description:
In this interactive 8 hour workshop, participants will deepen their knowledge and build confidence in delivering effective stretches that elevate the massage experience. We will begin with a review of anatomy and normal range of motion, followed by a discussion on the benefits of stretching and the various types of stretches used in practice. Through a combination of lecture and hands on lab time, participants will learn how to safely stretch each major joint of the body while using efficient body mechanics. They will leave equipped with practical techniques they can immediately integrate into their next session.
Participants are asked to bring: Set of linens, dress in comfortable clothes that allow unrestricted range of motion (no jeans)

About the Instructor: Bridget Logan, DPT, PT, CSCS, Cert-DN
Bridget Logan has been a licensed physical therapist for 28 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and outpatient clinics which has allowed her to treat a large variety of body types, ages and dysfunctions. When doing body work, she believes that flexibility is an important aspect to address to maintain or improve function. Bridget currently works both in physical therapy and as a youth rowing coach.
