Description

Course Description:

In this class, we will be covering Pin & Release techniques for the upper and lower body. Pin & Release, better known as Pin & Stretch, is a movement-based, muscle lengthening technique that is highly effective at treating problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Tight muscles are treated with pinning the muscle and sliding force, intended to increase movement of the tissues by removing or breaking up adhesions. This is a very good technique for muscles that have been overused and caused repetitive injury, and where scar tissue has built up. By applying focused pressure while the client performs specific motions to lengthen the tissue in these targeted areas, underlying tissues can be released. Client participation is necessary for Pin & Release.

Participants are asked to bring: Hand towels, hand sanitizer, and oil, gel, lotion or cream. Participants are recommended to wear loose, comfortable clothing, and/or shorts, sports top.
