MLD Basics

This is career changing class!

A comprehensive must-have course for professionals introducing them to the history of MLD and its founder, Dr. Emil Vodder. The instructor will do a comprehensive overview of the Anatomy and Physiology of the Lymph System. The hands-on portion instructs attendees how to do self-lymph, as well as help your clients do self-lymph in between their sessions with you. You will learn how to perform a 50-minute full body protocol that you will be able to offer your clientele immediately. This class includes an overview of pathophysiology, indications, contraindications, and assessment tools.
***This class is a prerequisite for the MLD Certification 4-day course***

Participants are asked to bring: Set of linens.

Saskia’s professional journey began at the acclaimed Light Institute in Galisteo, New Mexico, and continued with advanced training in Craniosacral Therapy at The Upledger Institute Europe. Originally from the Netherlands, she relocated to Santa Fe to study at the New Mexico Academy for Healing Arts, further deepening her commitment to integrative therapies.

A passionate educator at heart, Saskia has developed a broad portfolio of continuing education courses, integrating extensive training with hands-on expertise. Her leadership roles include serving as Director of Continuing Education at the Cortiva Institute (Boston and Hoboken), teaching at The Massage School, and founding The Healing Coöp—a collaborative space for wellness practitioners.
