About the Course:
Thermocoagulation is a safe, non-invasive process that will improve your client’s skin appearance by treating various skin blemishes or anomalies
Indications for treatment include (not limited to):
- Skin tags,
- Ruby points (cherry angioma),
- Spider angioma,
- Telangiectasia,
- Milia,
- Sebaceous hyperplasia,
- Hyper-pigmentation (solar keratoses, senile keratoses).
Thermocoagulation is a treatment that uses high-frequency current. Its effects is based on heat.
The current is restricted to the target area. Thus, making sure that the tissue damage caused by the thermocoagulation is limited. Its non-invasive process makes it a popular alternative to other options.
*Please be aware that this class is designed to train additional uses for high-frequency current.

Tracy Rafael is an Instructor at the Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers, West Palm Beach Campus and teaches the Electrology/Laser program. She also owns and operates her own electrology & esthetics business.
Tracy has Licenses & Certifications in: Full-Specialist, Body Wrapper, Electrologist – (Clinical / Medical) Laser Safety Officer, Certified Professional Coder( Medical & Dermatology), and a Medical Auditor.
