About the Course:
Thermocoagulation is a safe, non-invasive process that will improve your client’s skin appearance by treating various skin blemishes or anomalies
Indications for treatment include (not limited to):
- Skin tags,
- Ruby points (cherry angioma),
- Spider angioma,
- Telangiectasia,
- Milia,
- Sebaceous hyperplasia,
- Hyper-pigmentation (solar keratoses, senile keratoses).
Thermocoagulation is a treatment that uses high-frequency current. Its effects is based on heat.
The current is restricted to the target area. Thus, making sure that the tissue damage caused by the thermocoagulation is limited. Its non-invasive process makes it a popular alternative to other options.
*Please be aware that this class is designed to train additional uses for high-frequency current.

Instructor Bio:
Vickey Panos is an Instructor at the Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers, Casselberry Campus and teaches the Electrology/Laser program. Vickey has over 25 years of experience in Esthetics, Electrolysis and Medical Esthetics. She is currently the president of the Electrolysis Society of Florida and is also a consulting expert for technology and products for Silhouet Tone USA, Master Educator for Dermastart. Vickey is also a CIDESCO Diplomat. She has also been a school owner and Professor of Medical Aesthetics at Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
