Workshop Description:
During this hands-on training you will gain understanding of historical, physiological and the therapeutic effects and benefits of stone massage. The indications and contraindications for stone massage as well as the effects of heat and cold therapy will be reviewed and discussed. By the end of the workshop you will be familiar with the handling of stones, methods for incorporating hot stone work into your regular massage sessions as well as learning a full body hot stone routine that you can offer as an additional, unique treatment option.
