Workshop Description:
This Reiki Level 1 course, provides hands-on instruction on how to give a reiki treatment on oneself and others. Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality in which the practitioner channels Universal Life Force Energy into their palms and directs it into the client. This training prepares students to connect with reiki and use it as a stress relief and relaxation treatment for clients or themselves. Students will learn the history of Reiki, fundamentals of the reiki healing system, how to use reiki in their lifestyle, how to perform a reiki self-treatment, and the hand position sequence for treating others. Students are guided through a meditation practice in connecting with reiki energy. By the end of this training students feel confident in working with reiki energy and giving a full treatment.
In preparation for a reiki course, it is advised to eliminate caffeinated beverages, alcohol, and recreational drugs three days prior to the course.

About the Instructor:
Hailing from Atlanta, GA. Rob moved to Florida in 1992. Having over 25 years experience as a Facilitator and Instructor, Rob has an outstanding ability to connect with individuals learning styles. He has been a licensed Massage Therapist for more than twenty-two years, and a licensed Esthetician for more than twelve years. In his tenure as a Massage Instructor he has trained thousands of successful therapists over the years. He also works as a Education Manager for a National accredited Career College that provides massage, makeup artistry and esthetic career training students in becoming licensed professionals.
Rob is a Reiki Master, jewelry designer and artist. He uses his energetic connection to not only help clients but also infuses it into his art and jewelry. Clients often requests custom pieces for their individual needs.
