Workshop Description:
This Reiki Level 1 course, provides hands-on instruction on how to give a reiki treatment on oneself and others. Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality in which the practitioner channels Universal Life Force Energy into their palms and directs it into the client. This training prepares students to connect with reiki and use it as a stress relief and relaxation treatment for clients or themselves. Students will learn the history of Reiki, fundamentals of the reiki healing system, how to use reiki in their lifestyle, how to perform a reiki self-treatment, and the hand position sequence for treating others. Students are guided through a meditation practice in connecting with reiki energy. By the end of this training students feel confident in working with reiki energy and giving a full treatment.
To prepare for the reiki course, it is advised to eliminate caffeinated beverages, alcohol, and recreational drugs three days prior to the course.
Drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet. Meditate 10 minutes a day or take a walk in nature
