Workshop Description:
In the level 1 class you will learn the basic foundations of Reiki including:
● What Reiki is, including history, definition and principles.
● Chakras, what they are, where they are located and a detailed definition of each
● Hand positions for self and others
● How to effectively do a full treatment session on self and others
In addition, you will practice full sessions with the instructor and with classmates. At the end of this class, you will understand the basics of Reiki and be able to do a full session.
***Although the NCBTMB no longer approves energy work for CEU’s, CT massage therapists are allowed up to 12 non NCBTMB approved courses towards license renewal per renewal period. This class is worth 7 CE”s .

Jennifer has been a Reiki Master Teacher for almost 11 years and has taught hundreds
of students during that time. Inspired by the benefits her father got from receiving Reiki when he was in Hospice care, Jennifer believes that Reiki is something that provides enormous benefits to both the recipients and the practitioner. She has been using Reiki in her private practice, as well as with hospice and oncology patients, for ten years
