Description
In this class, we will examine the following Pin & Release techniques:
We will be covering Pin and Release techniques for the upper and lower body. Pin and Release or better known as Pin and Stretch is a movement-based muscle lengthening technique that is highly effective at treating problems with muscle, tendon, ligament and fascia. Tight muscles are treated with pinning the muscle and sliding force intended to increase movement of the tissues by removing or breaking up adhesions. Very good technique for muscles that have been overused and caused repetitive injury and where scar tissue has built up. By applying focused pressure while the client performs specific motions to lengthen the tissue in these targeted areas, underlying tissues can be released. Client participation is necessary for Pin and Release. This will be hands on and will cover the upper and lower body.
