Course Description:
Maternity Massage is a non-invasive type of body work that alleviates the body from joint & muscle tension, pain, headaches, fatigue, stress & anxiety during pregnancy. Massage Therapists taking this course will learn the anatomy of pregnancy, the contraindications, and a massage sequence to use in their practice.
Students are asked to bring: Note pad, pen or pencil to take notes, oil or lotion & hand sanitizer, 1 face cradle cover, 1 flat sheet, 1 fitted sheet, 4-5 pillows, 1 bolster and a massage table.
Students will be provided with a manual to take home for future reference.
