Workshop Description:
Learn the art of hot stone massage. Learn how to incorporate the use of Basalt stones into your massage. This course will teach you the do’s and don’ts of hot stone massage including indications and contraindications for this type of bodywork. We will also address specific stone techniques to address different aches and pains.
Participants will receive a set of Basalt stones.

What to Bring: Participants will need to bring a set of sheets, and a bolster. Also please bring two large hand towels and massage oil.

About the Instructor:
Dionne Rich is a Licensed Massage Therapist, owner of Reconstruct Therapeutic Massage, LLC. She is a licensed Massage Instructor and Licensed Continuing Education Provider. She has instructed students at Cortiva Institute and served as Spa Manager at Cortiva institute, supervising 250 plus students for five years. Mrs. Rich has Co-authored three continuing educations programs for Prenatal Massage, Muscular Re-education (Myofascial release, trigger point and Sports combination) and Reflexology.
Desiring to enhance the full scope of her interest Mrs. Rich became a certified Health/Live Coach in 2018 and has maintained a Cosmetology License since 1991.
