Lecture and Labs
IN THIS COURSE YOU WILL BE TAUGHT:
- Anatomy of the Lymphatic system
- History & Pathologies.
- MLD to specific pathologies for example, total knee replacements, Ankle Sprain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Pre and Post injuries and surgeries.
Participants are asked to bring: Sheets, lotion/oil, Pen/pencil and Notebook.

About the Instructor:
With a solid foundation in outpatient physical therapy, Wilda Del Carmen has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) since 2018. In 2020, she advanced her clinical expertise by completing an intensive 10-day course in Pittsburgh, becoming a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). Her passion for holistic patient care led her to pursue further education at the Academy of Massage Therapy, where she earned her Massage Therapy License in 2021.
Building on her specialized knowledge in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), she began offering continuing education courses in August 2022. She now provides comprehensive MLD training at Levels One, Two, and Three, sharing her extensive experience and dedication to quality care with other healthcare professionals.
