Course Description:
During this hands-on training, you will gain understanding of the historical, physiological and the therapeutic effects and benefits of stone massage, the indications and contraindications for stone massage, as well as the effects of heat and cold therapy. By the end of the workshop, you will be familiar with the handling of stones and methods for incorporating hot stone work into your regular massage sessions, as well as learning a full body hot stone routine that you can offer as a unique treatment option.
Participants will receive an 18-piece Hot Stone set with a warmer carrying case
Participants are asked to bring: Set of linens (including a blanket/body towel and face cradle cover), two (2) hand towels, and water-dispersible massage oil.
