Workshop Description:
In this amazing hands-on class, participants will learn the difference between Himalayan hot stone and traditional hot stone massage.
We will discuss the benefits and contraindications specific to Himalayan stones, as well as set up and cleaning up of stones, and practice massage using hot stones.

What to Bring: Massage linens, including a pillow case or face cradle cover, massage lotion/oil, and note taking supplies.

About the Instructor:
Virginia has been a licensed massage therapist since 2005. Having held a massage license both in Maryland and in Washington state has given her the opportunity to work on a wide variety of clients, from children to the elderly, weekend warriors to professional athletes. She found a passion for teaching as a trainer for Baltimore area spa and became an instructor at Cortiva’s Baltimore campus in 2020. Her desire to help massage professionals increase their marketability led her to become an NCBTMB approved CE provider in 2021
