Course Description:
A comprehensive must-have course for professionals introducing them to the history of MLD and its founder, Dr. Emil Vodder, and subsequent spread to the United States through Dr. Robert Lerner. The Tour continues with an introduction to the Anatomy and Physiology of the Lymph System in a fun and interactive format. The hands-on lab instructs attendees how to perform a 50 minute full body basic protocol. Next, the class will have an overview of pathophysiology, indications, contraindications, assessment tools and conclude the tour with a compression garment lab discussing the latest in lymphwear seen on T.V. and professional athletes.
