Description
Foundations of Cupping
Foundations of Cupping is designed as an introduction to Cupping for the massage therapist taught by a massage therapist. We will be using plastic cups with an application gun. We will also explore silicone cups. The basics techniques of Cupping will be taught and how to apply these techniques to your clients. We will also cover the benefits and contraindications of Cupping, as well as the types of cups and types of cupping (static and sliding moving). Also, how to incorporate massage with cupping, pre and post event cupping for athletes, and post cupping guidelines.
Class will be taught from a massage therapist’s perspective; many classes are taught by acupuncturists and do not talk about how and when to include massage with your cupping. Therapists will have the skills at the end of class to start cupping their clients right away!
Educational, hands on skills class! Come join the fun and learn cupping today!
