Course Description:
Dermaplaning is a treatment that gently exfoliates and enhances the appearance of the superficial top layer of skin.
This course will focus on (but is not limited to):
- Intro to Dermaplaning
- History & purpose
- Benefits for skin types & conditions
- Safety, Sanitation and Infection control
- Contraindications
- Dermaplaning procedures and protocols
- Possible side effects and post- protocol procedures
- Marketing & Pricing structures
- Client retention
Participants are asked to bring: Set of linens, note-taking supplies, and a model for you to practice the technique on (see guidelines below).
- Models must be at least 18 years of age
- Model cannot be contraindicated for dermaplaning service
