In this course you will learn:
- Cautions
- Contraindications
- Benefits and Effects of Deep Tissue massage
- How to work safely on clients
- How to use proper body mechanic and tools to prevent injury
- Self-care
- Draping techniques
Participants are asked to bring: Twin size sheets, blanket, lotion, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels.

About the Instructor:
Yesenia Almodovar is a bilingual (Spanish and English) license massage therapist with over 5 years of teaching experience bringing knowledge of the human body and hands on experience to her students. she has collaborated with chiropractor, supported elite events such as Core Gymnastics, Olympic trails and the Traveler Championship golf tournament. Yesenia’s approach blends instruction with real world experience helping massage therapists build skills they need to succeed.
